Named Promotion Services Agency of Record
for the Recording Academyâ
and the
GRAMMYâ
Awards
October 29, 2003 -- RPMC, the marketing and promotions agency
with offices in the US and Europe, has entered into an
exclusive multi-year partnership with the Recording Academyâ,
producer of the music industry’s most prestigious awards show,
the GRAMMYsâ.
RPMC will use its integrated marketing expertise to develop
branded promotions intended to grow awareness and tune-in for
the 46th Annual GRAMMYâ
Awards, to be broadcast on the CBS Television Network, Sunday,
February 8, 2004.
RPMC
will work with the Recording Academyâ,
its sponsors, and the media in the areas of sponsorship
activation, media marketing, travel promotions and
hospitality. As part of the partnership, RPMC will work with
all CBS affiliates as well as radio stations executing
promotional programs around the GRAMMYsâ.
RPMC will be coordinating the sales and distribution of
tickets to the show to create awareness for the broadcast. In
addition, RPMC will be developing travel promotions for the 46th
Annual GRAMMYâ
Awards. This includes securing and managing all air travel,
hotel accommodations, ground transportation, hospitality
services and additional activities.
