2004 -- RPMC, the travel/entertainment marketing and
promotions agency with offices in the US and Europe, will
continue to serve, for its second year, as the official
travel promotions agency for the Recording Academy®,
producer of the music industry’s most prestigious awards
show, the GRAMMY® Awards. Using its marketing
and branding expertise, RPMC will implement a variety of
different targeted promotions to continue to grow awareness
and tune-in for the 47th Annual GRAMMY Awards, to be
broadcast live on the CBS Television Network, Sunday,
February 13, 2005 at 8PM ET/PT.
RPMC
will work with the Recording Academy, , and the media in the
areas of travel promotions, and hospitality . As part of
the outreach campaign, RPMC will be coordinating the sales
and distribution of tickets to the show to create tune-in
awareness for the broadcast. In addition, RPMC will work
with CBS television affiliates and some radio stations
executing promotional programs around the GRAMMYs, as well
as provide all affiliate trips to the February 13 awards
ceremony in Los Angeles. In the area of travel promotions,
RPMC will secure and manage all air travel, hotel
accommodations, ground transportation, hospitality services
and additional activities.
A
sampling of RPMC’s unique travel incentive packages to the
GRAMMYs may include such innovative and exciting
opportunities as chartering private jets, staged private
music studio sessions with name talent, customized
music-related sightseeing tours of “must-see” spots in LA,
and private GRAMMY screening parties at celebrity mansions.
