RPMC
TAPPED TO HELP MARQUEE BRANDS WITH PROMOTIONAL TRAVEL
SERVICES AROUND HIGH-PROFILE EVENTS
‘Excitement
Agency’ Enlisted on Behalf of Clients Ranging from
Hard Rock Café to Hilton
CALABASAS, Calif. (Aug. 15, 2005) -- Demonstrating its
“agency of choice” reputation in providing support for
world-class events, RPMC (www.rpmc.com)
today announced a series of high-profile client wins,
further solidifying the company’s leadership in incentive
travel and sales promotion.
These new projects – for organizations as diverse
as the Hard Rock Café, the Magic Johnson Foundation, Valeant
Pharmaceuticals and Hilton Garden Inn -- underscore the
breadth of experience the firm possesses in serving clients
across a range of industries, but with a consistent focus on
providing creative, comprehensive event support worldwide.
“We’re delighted to work with such an eclectic
group of companies, all of which recognize the need for
services that are cost-effective and yet comprehensive, and
directed entirely toward delivering experiences that stand
out,” said Murray Schwarz, co-founder and partner, RPMC.
“The common thread is simply that each client is uncommon,
and each event succeeds precisely because it is tailored to
unique business and marketing requirements.”
RPMC has been awarded the prestigious global
travel fulfillment contract for the grand opening of the
Hard Rock Café on Times Square, slated for Sept. 17. For
the effort, RPMC will provide a full range of logistical and
transportation services to accommodate the winners of the
grand opening sweepstakes the Hard Rock Café is implementing
as part of the celebration.
RPMC will be involved in both the online and offline
elements of the campaign, providing a full array of support
services, including airline reservations and booking;
transportation staffing and coordination; on-site
supervision of activities; assistance with all check-in and
check-out procedures and a host of other mission-critical
activities. For the online effort, RPMC will also manage
key elements such as rule-writing, legalities and oversight
of the sweepstakes’ page at Hardrock.com.
Known for the company’s IncentEvents distinctive travel
promotion and sales incentive programs, RPMC will also play
a pivotal role in ensuring prize-winners have access to
exclusive New York experiences such as a Broadway show, the
“Broadway on Broadway” extravaganza, and special access to
the Hard Rock Café grand opening party featuring a live
performance by a top artist.
For the 20th anniversary of the Magic Johnson
Foundation’s “A Midsummer’s Night Magic” earlier this
summer, RPMC managed all celebrity talent travel and on-site
coordination, including
airline reservations and booking for VIP Guests, “meet and
greet” services at the airport and VIP transfer services
for honorees for two key events, the Scholarship
Awards Dinner and Celebrity Golf Tournament. For the
Scholarship Awards Dinner, RPMC supervised all travel
arrangements, accommodations and handled on-site support for
a roster of 20 celebrities including Muhammad Ali, Quincy
Jones and the Rev. Jesse Jackson. The Celebrity Golf
Tournament involved managing travel and other onsite
logistics for 14 sports celebrities, including Sugar Ray
Leonard, Emmitt Smith and Dan Marino.
For the second year in a row, RPMC was selected
to develop an exceptional travel experience for a privileged
group of travelers, Valeant Pharmaceuticals highest sales
performers, the President’s Club. After a successful
program developed at the exclusive Esperanza resort in Los
Cabos, Mexico, last year, RPMC is creating another
superlative program, scheduled this month at the Four
Seasons hotel in Hawaii.
Elements planned to ensure a rewarding experience
include personal welcomes from an RPMC representative,
welcome notes and personalized gift baskets with locally
produced gourmet items, daily itineraries fit for paradise
and pre-stamped postcards of Hawaii. RPMC will also be on
hand to assist guests with questions, dinner reservations
and optional activities.
RPMC played a key role in Hilton Garden Inn’s
strategic effort to reposition its brand through an
innovative road show campaign – “The Evolution System
Express” -- which ran from February through July. Employing
a 72-foot, 67,000 pound mobile marketing truck featuring a
full-scale model guestroom, Hilton Garden Inn was able to
showcase its rooms’ latest innovations in comfort, style and
technology as the road show traveled 26,000 miles across the
US and Canada. To make the Evolution System Express tour a
success, RPMC managed all creative, design and production
elements of the vehicle in addition to handling all tour
management and travel issues.
